In a family company like edding, corporate culture is principally influenced by the founders. Our founding families have always been dedicated to protecting the environment; they have been living their nature-loving way of life – setting up nature reserves, foundations, etc. – both in private and commercially for many years.
It is therefore with particular pride that we present this environmental website as an expression of edding’s environmental consciousness.
Its success, as with most things, depends on a wholesome blend: if our employees print documents out double-sided instead of single-sided, if the coffee machine doesn’t go on simmering for hours but instead turns off automatically, if our solar power modules produce electricity efficiently, if our customers are aware – thanks to our certification – that we work in compliance with certified environmental standards, then it all goes to helping the environment.
But that’s not all: we continue to collect ideas that can be implemented within the company; our new EcoLine product range is being developed still further and more products are being added all the time.
