The assumption of social responsibility at edding is more than just a cute phrase; it’s something that is actively promoted in the company.

True to the motto “healthy body, healthy mind”, edding AG pursues an integrated company policy of health promotion. Using targeted campaigns, we at edding go far beyond the legal requirements to ensure the health of employees is maintained and improved. After all, they are our biggest asset.

The innovative hypnosis-assisted, stop-smoking programme is definitely one of the highlights. At different locations, the company also offers complimentary flu vaccinations, health checks (and eye tests), not to mention back pain prevention courses. So it’s only to be expected that all workstations are equipped according to ergonomic specifications.

Moreover, in co-operation with the German Brands Association (Markenverband), edding was also involved in launching the AIM initiative at the beginning of 2008. The aim is for manufacturers to become actively involved in improving the health of people in Europe. The active search for the solutions that promise to achieve this, is ongoing.

Help where help is needed

Children are our future, which is why edding AG has been donating to the children’s hospital at Eppendorf University Hospital (Hamburg, Germany) for over 10 years. All this just goes to show that here at edding, we have more on our minds than simply markers.
